The Jignasa Chess Championship gives young players an opportunity to experience the excitement of competitive chess in a supportive and professionally managed environment. Whether it's their first tournament or they're building on previous experience, children will learn to think strategically, stay composed under pressure and grow through healthy competition.
Beyond winning, the championship is about developing confidence, focus, resilience and sportsmanship—skills that extend far beyond the chessboard.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the workshop are eligible for a credit that can be used for any future Jignasa workshop (valid for 60 days).
- As materials and seating are prepared in advance, cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop or no-shows are non-refundable.
- Registrations may be transferred to another participant with prior notice.
FAQs
Is this only for Jignasa students?
No, the championship is open to all children. Jignasa students receive a special discounted entry.
Does my child need tournament experience?
No. Children who know chess basics and can independently play a game can participate.
How are categories divided?
Children will compete in their respective age categories: U-7, U-10, U-13 & Open.
Do we need to bring a chess board?
No, all arrangements will be taken care of.
Do parents need to stay?
Parents are welcome to stay and watch..
